Aithne The Forest of Souls

Join the Druid into the ancient forest of Aithne. Inside, he must find a precious crystal that cointains the power to bring peace into the World again.

Making this stop motion film was an incredible adventure. The"Druid" was created using wire, clay and fabrics, then used acrylic to paint his face. Some cotton was used to make his long wizard beard. Around 600 pictures of him were taken as he moved along the set which measured 1.20 x 1.20 meters.

In the following gallery, you can see a little bit about the process of making the Druid and how the set was built which contains diverse items that are relevent to the story. Which appears to be snow is nothing but flour.
